Food security

Our current research programme on food supply and food security has developed from initial research on carbon footprinting and mapping supply chains using Geographic Information Systems (GIS).  We are now exploring how to integrate footprinting and LCA methodologies into GIS and Environmental Management Systems (EMS) so that companies can map their supply chains and assess resource footprint throughout supply chains.
