FIT for Food feedback

Development of FIT for Food by users of the portal - your suggestions and feedback are valuable to us

The Food Innovation Trends (FIT) for Food portal is by no means a static resource. We are constantly updating the information in response to user's suggestions. If you feel there should be a topic, subject or would like to suggest adding specific information to the FIT for Food database please contact the Food Innovation Centre at Sheffield Hallam University to give us suggestions or feedback. This is important to us and will be acted upon.

Development of FIT for Food - the history

In October 2006 the Food Innovation Centre at Sheffield Hallam University successfully won a Higher education Funding council for England (HEFCE) contract to place research that would stimulate innovation into the food and drink sector. Following this success, the Food Innovation Centre went to the sector to ask what trends, subject areas and issues were likely to result in innovative developments in the foreseeable future. Our initial FIT for Food portal launched in November 2007 largely represented these findings.

FIT users suggestions

The FIT for Food Portal is in a continual process of development, the information and membership is free to users. We aim to use the information and reporting of projects to develop innovations within the food and drink sector.
