The following projects were carried out by and developed in the Centre for Food Innovation between 2008-2009, they have provided an overview of most supply chain issues associated with food and beverage production.  Our resource footprinting research where we are aiming to map the costs, benefits, impacts of food supply, manufacture and retailing using Life Cycle Analysis and footprinting methodologies as supply chain led innovations . The current research programme for food supply and food security has developed from initial research on carbon footprinting and mapping supply chains.  Updates on our current research are available from  http://logisticcurve.blogspot.com/  and http://www.linkedin.com/in/waynemartindale
